 AF  1) Check IVSI displays a TCAS OFF message.
 AF  2) Set ALT RPTG switch to ON.
 AF  (4)  Radioaltitude Inhibits
 AF  (a) Disable No. 2 radioaltimeter by pulling ALTM LOW R2 C/B.
 AF  (b) Check flaps are up.
 AF  (5)  Verify there is no inhibition above 1450 ft AGL:
 AF  (a) Set ADC to 2000 ft as read on altimeter.
 AF  (b) Set the radioaltitude to 1600 ft.
 AF  (c) Place the airplane in simulated in-air condition.
 AF  (d) Position the TCAS ramp test set antenna at 0. relative bearing
 AF  to the aircraft.
 AF  (e) Set the test set to simulate an intruder aircraft with the
 AF  following parameters:
 AF  1) intruder type: ATCRBS
 AF  2) range: 5 NM
 AF  3) range rate: 250 Kts
 AF  4) altitude: 2100 ft
 AF  5) altitude rate: 0 ft/mn

 AF (f) Start scenario and verify the intruder symbol changes from an
 AF other to proximate and then to a TA symbol, "TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC"
 AF sounds, TA symbol changes to RA, a resolution advisory is
 AF displayed on both IVSI, "DESCEND, DESCEND, DESCEND" sounds,
 AF followed by "INCREASE DESCEND, INCREASE DESCEND" and "CLEAR OF
 AF CONFLICT".
 AF (g) Verify increase descend inhibition below 1450 ft AGL:
 AF 1) Set the radioaltitude to 1300 ft.
 AF 2) Start scenario and verify the intruder symbol changes from
 AF an other to proximate and then to a TA symbol, "TRAFFIC,
 AF TRAFFIC" sounds, TA symbol changes to RA, a resolution
 AF advisory is displayed on both IVSI, "DESCEND, DESCEND,
 AF DESCEND" sounds. Continue the scenario until "CLEAR OF
 AF CONFLICT" sounds.
 AF 3) Verify "INCREASE DESCEND, INCREASE DESCEND" did not sound
 AF and no increase descend resolution advisory occured.
 AF (h) Verify descend RA inhibition below 1000 ft AGL on descend.
 AF 1) Set the radioaltitude to 1300 ft and decrease to 950 ft.
 AF 2) Start scenario and verify the intruder symbol changes from
 AF an other to proximate and then to a TA symbol, "TRAFFIC,
 AF TRAFFIC" sounds, TA symbol changes to RA.
 AF 3) Continue the scenario until "CLEAR OF CONFLICT" sounds.
 AF 4) Verify "DECEND, DESCEND, DESCEND" did not sound and no
 AF resolution advisory occured. Discregard any other aural
 AF message during this test.
 AF (i) Verify all RA and all aural annunciation inhibition below
 AF 900 ft AGL on descend:
 AF 1) Set the radioaltitude to 1300 ft. Decrease to 800 ft.
 AF 2) Verify the TA ONLY flag shows on both IVSI. Start scenario
 AF and verify the intruder symbol changes from an other to
 AF proximate and then to a TA symbol.
 AF 3) Verify no RA, and no aural annunciation occurs.
 AF (j) Verify all RA and all aural annunciation inhibition below
 AF 1100 ft on climbout:
 AF 1) Set the radioaltitude to 800 ft. Increase to 1000 ft.
 AF 2) Verify the TA ONLY flag shows on both IVSI.
 AF 3) Start scenario and verify the intruder symbol changes from
 AF an other to proximate and then to a TA symbol.
 AF 4) Verify no RA and no aural annunciation occurs.
 AF (k) Verify descend RA inihibition below 1200 ft AGL on climbout.
 AF 1) Set the radioaltitude to 800 ft. Increase to 1150 ft.
 AF 2) Start scenario and verify the intruder symbol changes from
 AF an other to proximate and then to a TA symbol, "TRAFFIC,
 AF TRAFFIC" sounds, TA symbol changes to RA.
 AF 3) Continue the scenario until "CLEAR OF CONFLICT" sounds.
 AF 4) Verify DESCEND, DESCEND, DESCEND" did not sound and no
 AF resolution advisory occured. Disregard any other aural
 AF message during this test.
 AF (l) Close ALTM LOW R2 C/B.
 AF (m) Disable No. 1 radioaltimeter by pulling ALTM LOW R1 C/B.
 AF (n) Repeat steps (a) to (f) above.
