Open LRRA-1 and LRRA-2 system circuit breakers, to simulate a radio altitude above 2500 feet on LRRA-1 and LRRA-2 respectively.
(13)
Place the TURB/SPEED switch on the A/P-F/D MSP to the PMS position and verify that the switch remains in the selected position.
(14)
Verify that the A/T amber warning light flashes, on the Captain's and on the F/O's flight mode annunciators (FMA's).
(15)
Place the A/T engage switch on the A/P-F/D MSP to the ON position. Verify that the A/T amber warning light extinguishes, on both FMA's.
(16)
Place the A/T engage switch to OFF. Verify that the A/T red warning light flashes, on both FMA's. Reset (extinguish) the red warning lights by returning the A/T engage switch to ON.
(17)
Push the A/T disconnect switch on throttle lever No. 1. Verify that the A/T red warning light flashes, on both FMA's. Reset (extinguish) the red warning lights by pressing the disconnect switch again. Verify that the A/T amber warning light flashes, on both FMA's.
(18)
Place the A/T engage switch to the ON position. Verify that the A/T amber warning light extinguishes, on both FMA's.
(19)
Push the A/T disconnect switch on throttle lever No. 4. Verify that the A/T red warning light flashes, on both FMA's. Reset (extinguish) the red warning lights by pressing the warning light assembly on either the Captain's FMA or the F/O's FMA. Verify that the A/T amber warning light flashes, on both FMA's.
(20)
Place the A/T engage switch to the ON position. Verify that the A/T amber warning light extinguishes, on both FMA's.
(21)
Ensure that the following switches on the A/P-F/D MSP are in the positions shown.
TURB/SPEED switch to PMS.
A/T engage switch ON.
(22) Close LRRA-1 system circuit breaker. Verify that the TURB/SPEED switch and the A/T engage switch both drop to the OFF position. Verify that the A/T red warning lights flash, on both FMA's.
