C. Remove R/T No. 1 and No. 2 from the R/T mounts (Ref 34-43-02).
D. Remove the screws that attach the feeder waveguides to the R/T mounts.
E. Airplanes with a RCA AVQ-30X Weather Radar System; Remove the screws that attach the waveguide switch to the R/T mount.
F. Airplanes with a Bendix Weather Radar System; Remove the screws that attach the waveguide switch to the R/T mount.
G. Remove the electrical connectors from the R/T mounts.
H. Remove the screws that attach the R/T mounts to the shelf.
I. Remove the R/T mounts.
6. Install the R/T Mount on Passenger Airplanes
____________________________________________
A. Check that waveguide switch is securely fastened to R/T mount.
B. Check that R/T feeder waveguides are properly secured to R/T mount and waveguide switch.
C. Place all multipin electrical connectors forward of where R/T mount will be secured to shelf assembly.
D. Carefully position R/T mount in shelf assembly with mounting holes over shelf assembly fasteners.
CAUTION: EXERCISE CARE TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO WIRE BUNDLES OR
_______ COAX CABLES WHEN INSTALLING R/T MOUNT INTO SHELF ASSEMBLY.
E. Secure R/T mount to shelf assembly with mounting screws.
F. Position electrical connectors to R/T mount and secure with screws and nuts.
G. Connect electrical connector to waveguide switch.
H. Install screws, lockwashers and gasket securing antenna waveguide to waveguide switch.
I. Check ground bonding wire connection at forward outboard end of shelf assembly is secure.
J. Check electrical bonds between shelf assembly and R/T mount per 20-22-01. The resistance should not exceed 0.002 ohm.
K. Check that wire bundles are fastened securely to their attach points.
L. Install R/T No. 1 and 2 into R/T mount (Ref 34-43-02).
M. Remove DO-NOT-OPERATE identifiers and close WEA RDR R/T No. 1 and 2 and WEA RDR IND No. 1 and 2 circuit breakers on overhead circuit breaker panel P7.
N. Do the weather radar system operational and system tests
(AMM 34-43-00/501).
O. Remove airplane power if no longer required (AMM 24-22-0).
7. Install the R/T Mounts on Freighter Airplanes

A. Put the R/T mounts on the shelf.
B. Install the screws that attach the R/T mounts to the shelf.
C. Install the electrical connectors on the R/T mounts.
D. Airplanes with a RCA AVQ-30X Weather Radar System; Install the screws that attach the waveguide switch to the R/T mount.
E. Airplanes with a Bendix Weather Radar System; Install the screws that attach the waveguide switch to the R/T mount.
F. Install the screws that attach the feeder waveguides to the R/T mounts.
G. Make sure the resistance between the R/T mount and the shelf is less than 0.0025 ohms. (Ref 20-22-01).

H. Install the floor compartment panels in the nose cargo area.
