 AF (b) Repeat test with airplane in flight simulated condition. AF (2) TCAS modes test
 AF  (a) Set all flaps to 0..
 AF  1) Check airplane is in flight simulated condition.
 AF  (b) Set Radioaltitude ramp test set to 2000 ft.
 AF  (c) Set Captain's and F/O altimeters to CADC mode and set baro
 AF  settings to 1013 hPa.
 AF  (d) Set CADC to 2000 ft as read on altimeter.
 AF  (e) Preset TCAS ramp test set scenario to simulate an intruder as
 AF  follows:
 AF  1) intrude type: ATCRBS
 AF  2) range: 5 NM
 AF  3) range rate: 250 knots
 AF  4) altitude: 1900 ft
 AF  5) altitude rate: 0 ft/mn
 AF  (f) Start scenario.
 AF  (g) Select STBY on control panel.
 AF  (h) Set range to 16 NM on IVSI.
 AF  1) Check there is no traffic display on IVSI
 AF  2) Check TCAS OFF flag is visible on IVSI
 AF  (i) Select TA ONLY on control panel.
 AF  1) Check intruder is displayed
 AF  2) Check TA ONLY is displayed on white background.
 AF  3) Check "TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC" aural annunciation occurs when TA
 AF  ONLY background turns from white to yellow.
 AF  4) Observe the TA intruder symbol as it tracks in to the
 AF  aircraft symbol and verify that it does not change to a RA
 AF  and that no resolution adivsory information is provided.
 AF  5) When the intruder reaches 0 distance and tracks outbond,
 AF  terminate the scenario.
 AF  (j) Select TA/RA on control panel.
 AF  (k) Start scenario again.
 AF  1) Check there is no TA ONLY MESSAGE ON IVSI.
 AF  2) Check intruder is displayed.
 AF  3) Check intruder symbol changes from an other to a proximate,
 AF  then check the proximate changes to a TA intruder
 AF  simultaneously with the "TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC" aural
 AF  annunciation.
 AF  4) Observe the TA symbol as it tracks to the IVSI aircraft
 AF  symbol and check that it changes to a RA intruder.
 AF  5) Check the aural annunciation "CLIMB, CLIMB, CLIMB" occurs
 AF  and check a climb resolution advisory is displayed.
 AF  6) Terminate the scenario at this point.
 AF  (3)  TCAS and Interface failure monitoring.
 AF
 AF  NOTE: All circuit breakers mentioned in this paragraph are located____
 AF  on P7 panel.

 AF  (a) Pull MHRS 1 circuit breaker.
 AF  1) Check IVSI display still shows TCAS OK.
 AF  2) Close MHRS 1 C/B.

 AF  1) Check IVSI display is not affected.
 AF  2) Close ALTM LOW R1 C/B.
 AF  (c) Pull ALTM LOW R2 C/B.
 AF  1) Check IVSI display is not affected.
 AF  (d) Pull ALTM LOW R1 C/B.
 AF  1) Check IVSI displays a yellow TCAS FAIL flag and that
 AF  traffic is removed from the display.
 AF  2) Close ALTM LOW R1 and ALTM LOW R2 C/Bs.
 AF  (e) Pull ADC 1 C/B.
 AF  1) Check that IVSI displays a yellow TCAS FAIL flag and that
 AF  traffic is removed from the display.
 AF  2) Close ADC 1 C/B.
 AF  (f) Pull IVSI CAPT C/B.
 AF  1) Check that captain's IVSI is blank and that F/O IVSI
 AF  continues to operate normally.
 AF  2) Close IVSI CAPT C/B.
 AF  (g) Pull IVSI F/O C/B.
 AF  1) Check that F/O IVSI is blank and that captain's IVSI
 AF  continues to operate normally.
 AF  2) Close IVSI F/O C/B.
 AF  (h) Pull TCAS C/B.
 AF  1) Check IVSI displays a yellow TCAS FAIL flag and a RA FAIL
 AF  flag.
 AF  2) Close TCAS C/B and check the TCAS system returns to normal
 AF  operation on both IVSI.
 AF  (i) Pull ATC 1 C/B.
 AF  1) Check IVSI displays a yellow TCAS FAIL flag.
 AF  2) Close ATC 1 C/B.
 AF  (j) On ATC/TCAS control panel set the ALT RPTG switch to OFF.
