ú ú ú ú ú (3) S 423-015Install the elevator PCU input rod lock equipment, C27066, on theelevator PCU input rod to prevent the elevator from moving whilelubricating the elevator hinge bearings.
(4) S 863-006Set the FLT CONTROL A and B switches to OFF.
(5) S 013-009Remove the access panels 9107, 9108, 9109, or 9207, 9208, 9209.
(6) S 643-003Lubricate the elevator hinge bearings (Fig. 301).
NOTE:____ In case of the dust cap dislocation, do the temporary repair of the dust seal (AMM 27-09-83/801).
(7) S 643-004Lubricate the balance panel hinges (Fig. 301): (a) Remove the access panel 9313 or 9413. (b) Remove the bolts that hold the aft part of the balance panel hinge to the elevator nose. (c) Let the aft balance panel hang down. (d) Get access to the balance panel hinges. (e) Lubricate the balance panel hinges. 1) Move the hinges during the lubrication. (f) Install the balance panel bolts. (g) Install the access panel 9313 or 9413. (h) Move the elevator through the full travel by hand to make sure it moves freely.
ú ú ú ú ú ú ú ú S 643-005 (8) Lubricate the hinge fittings of the elevator tab (Fig. 301).S 023-016(9) Remove the elevator PCU input rod lock equipment, C27066, from theelevator PCU input rod.S 863-008(10) Release the control columns to the neutral position and remove theDO-NOT-MOVE tags from the control columns.
S 413-010 (11) Install the access panels 9107, 9108, 9109, or 9207, 9208, 9209.
S 863-011 (12) Set the FLT CONTROL A and B switches to ON.

A. There are three tasks in this procedure. There is one task each for the lubrication of the stabilizer trim jackscrew and the gimbal fittings, the stabilizer trim indicator flexible shaft and the stabilizer trim control system chain. The procedure has these parts:
