Permit five minutes for the oil level to become stable.

Look at the oil level in the sight glass on the VSCF. 1) If the oil level is below the bottom of the applicable range, add oil to the VSCF.
2) If the oil level is above the top of the applicable range, drain some of the oil from the VSCF (Ref "Drain the Oil From the VSCF" task).

(6) Install the cap on the case pressure-fill valve.

WARNING:_______ DO NOT TOUCH THE OIL SYSTEM PARTS WHEN THEY ARE HOT. THESE
PARTS STAY HOTTER THAN THE OTHER ENGINE PARTS AFTER AN ENGINE
SHUTDOWN. OIL SYSTEM PARTS THAT ARE HOT CAN BURN YOU.
DO NOT LET THE OIL TOUCH YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. YOU CAN
ABSORB POISONOUS MATERIALS FROM THE OIL THROUGH YOUR SKIN. OIL
ON YOUR SKIN CAN CAUSE DERMATITIS AFTER A LONG TIME.

Remove the drain fitting for the spline cavity from the accessory gearbox.

Let the oil drain from the spline cavity.

Remove the bucket.
(a) Discard the used oil from the bucket.

(6) Install the drain fitting for the spline cavity into the accessory gearbox:
(a)
Replace the O-ring that is on the drain fitting.
(b)
Install the drain fitting for the spline cavity into the accessory gearbox.
(c)
Tighten it to 180-220 pound inches.
(d)
Install a lockwire.
