(b) (c) Remove the axle jack.Fill the shock strut with the fluid from the service cart until the fluid flows from the top of the shock strut and through the waste fluid hose.
(6) S 423-008Disconnect the service cart. Install the seal cap for the check valve at the bottom of the shock strut.
(7) S 833-030AIRPLANES THAT ARE LIFTED ON JACKS; Lower the nose of the airplane with the jack until the shock strut is fully compressed and the overflow fluid no longer flows into the container.
NOTE:____ If no fluid will flow from the shock strut when you do this step, too much fluid was lost when you did step (4). You must do step E.(2) and steps F.(1) through (5) again.
(a) Remove the jack.
(8) S 613-011Add an extreme pressure additive on the shock strut fluid on airplanes that do not use a fully formulated (shock strut) fluid. (a) Remove the hose from the air valve at the top of the shock strut and remove the air valve. (b) Remove a minimum of four ounces of fluid and put in two ounces of lubrizol. 1) Fill the shock strut with clean fluid. (c) Install the air valve in the shock strut.
(9) S 613-012Inflate the shock strut with dry air or nitrogen according to the servicing chart (Fig. 302).
NOTE:____ For operational limits during towing of the airplane, refer to AMM 09-10-00/201.

Put the Airplane in its Usual Condition.
S 613-014
(11)
After 5 to 10 landings, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Measure the shock strut pressure and X dimension.
1) Inflate the shock strut according to the servicing chart (Fig. 302) if it is necessary.
(b)
Service the shock strut with air or nitrogen (Fig. 302).
TASK 12-15-41-703-014
3. Examine the Fluid Level of the Shock Strut for the Nose Landing Gear
____________________________________________________________________
A. General
(1) To do the check of the fluid level, measure the pressure and the extension of the shock strut. You must do this two times with the airplane at a different weight each time. You then compare the quantities you have measured with those in the servicing chart for the shock strut.
