(2) S 013-004-002Open the left fan cowl on the applicable engine (Ref 71-11-02/201).
(3) S 013-005-002Release the pressure from the VSCF:
NOTE:____ If you do not release the air pressure, the sight glass can show an incorrect oil level.
WARNING:_______ REMOVE THE OVERFILL DRAIN FITTING SLOWLY. HOT GAS OR OIL CAN COME OUT WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT. HOT GAS OR OIL CAN BURN YOU.
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE THE VACUUM BREAK VALVE FROM THE VSCF. IF_______ YOU REMOVE THE VACUUM BREAK VALVE, YOU CAN DAMAGE THE VSCF. (a) ON VSCFs WITH OVERFILL DRAIN FITTINGS; Remove the overfill drain fitting.
(4) S 213-006-002Look at the oil level in the sight glass on the VSCF.
NOTE:____ The VSCF can indicate over FULL level if the unit has been operated within a 6 hour period prior to the oil level check.
(a) (b) If the oil level is above the top of the applicable range, do one of these steps: 1) If it is a warm VSCF unit, do not drain oil from the VSCF. 2) If the VSCF unit has not been operated within a six hour period before the oil level check, drain some of the oil from the VSCF (Ref "Drain the Oil From the VSCF" task).If the oil level is below the bottom of the applicable range, add oil to the VSCF (Ref "Fill the VSCF with Oil" task).
(5) S 433-007-002If the oil level is satisfactory, install these parts: (a) ON VSCFs WITH OVERFILL DRAIN FITTINGS; Install the overfill drain fitting.

Open the left fan cowl on the applicable engine if it is not open (Ref 71-11-02/201).

WARNING:_______DO NOT TOUCH THE OIL SYSTEM PARTS WHEN THEY ARE HOT. THESE PARTS STAY HOTTER THAN THE OTHER ENGINE PARTS AFTER AN ENGINE SHUTDOWN. OIL SYSTEM PARTS THAT ARE HOT CAN BURN YOU.
DO NOT LET THE OIL TOUCH YOUR SKIN FOR A LONG TIME. YOU CAN ABSORB POISONOUS MATERIALS FROM THE OIL THROUGH YOUR SKIN. OIL ON YOUR SKIN CAN CAUSE DERMATITIS AFTER A LONG TIME.
