E. Procedure

(1) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) On the P6 Load Control Center:
1) ENGINE START VALVE

(2) Open the left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE THE SERVICING TOOLS ARE CLEAN. THIS WILL HELP WHEN YOU EXAMINE THE DRAINED OIL.

Put the container below the starter.

ENGINE STARTERS WITHOUT THE OIL LEVEL VIEW GLASS;
Remove the cap from the oil overfill port (Fig. 301).
(a) Push the cap and turn it counterclockwise until it unlocks.
NOTE: Be prepared to catch the oil from the oil overfill port.

(5) Remove the drain plug and the gasket.
(a) Let the oil drain into the container.
