Fill to the level of the filler port with transmission fluid.
(b)
Install the fill plug.

Install the flap track fairings (AMM 27-51-32/401).

(1)
Supply the system B hydraulic power (Ref 27-51-00/201).

Move the flap control lever to the 40-unit position to extend the trailing edge flaps.

Remove the system B hydraulic power (Ref 27-51-00/201).

Open the applicable access panels on the Flap Track Fairing and the Wing Trailing Edge.
(5)
Attach the .25 inch I.D. drain hose to the drain pan.

Put the drain pan into position (Fig. 301).
(a)
Position the pan on the fairing rib under the drain plug. Use a cloth to stabilize the pan if necessary.
(b)
Put the end of the tube not connected to the pan through the fairing access and into a bucket on the ground.

(7) Drain the Transmission.
(a)
Remove the fill plug on top of the transmission.
(b)
Remove the drain plug on the bottom of the transmission.
(c)
Install the drain plug after the fluid has drained.
