(b) Set the refuel valve switches for the tanks to be refueled to
the OPEN position.
(c) Start the fuel truck pump.
(d) Put the necessary quantity of fuel in the tank or tanks.
(e) Monitor the refuel quantity indicators for tanks to be
refueled.
1) When the applicable refuel indicators show the necessary
quantity (calculated before), set the refuel valve switches
to the CLOSE position.
(f) Stop the fuel truck pump.
NOTE:____ Immediately after refueling, the fuel quantity shown
on the FMC can be less than the actual fuel quantity in
the tank. The FMC fuel quantity will show the correct
fuel quantity in the tank two minutes after the stop of
refueling.

OVERWING REFUELING - SERVICING

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has this task:
(1) A task to refuel the airplane through the overwing fill ports
B. You can refuel the No. 1 tank and the No. 2 tank with the overwing refuel procedure. You can also move fuel from the other tanks into the center tank with the fuel boost pumps.
C. It is necessary to have 115-volt ac power to use the boost pumps. Refer to Fig. 301 for the location of the overwing refuel ports.
D. Obey all of the safety precautions supplied in the task: "Precautions and Limits for the Refuel Operation" (AMM 12-11-01/301).
