Lightly lubricate the external part of the seal fitting tool with engine oil. 1) Use the tool to install the o-ring on the drain plug.
(e)
Lightly apply a layer of engine oil to the threads of the gearbox drain plug.
(f)
Install the gearbox drain plug.
1) Tighten the plug to 180-200 pound-inches
(20.5-23.0 Newton meters).
2) Install the lockwire.

(11) Operate the engine and do a check for leaks (AMM 71-00-00/501, Leak Check - Idle Power).

(12) Fill the oil tank.
(a) If non-approved oils or different oil types have been added to the engine oil, follow these steps: 1) If the quantity is less than 10 percent (2 quarts or less),
no action is necessary.
2) If the quantity is more than 10 percent (2 quarts or more), you must drain and replenish the oil tank before the next flight.
