Remove hydraulic power from the rudder system (AMM 27-21-00/201).

Lubricate the hinges (Fig. 301).
NOTE: In case of the dust cap dislocation, do the temporary repair
____ of the dust seal (AMM 27-09-83/801).

Lubricate the connection of the power control unit to the rudder (Fig. 301).

Do these steps to lubricate the spring slider shaft of the feel and centering unit (Fig 302). Use BMS 3-33 or MIL-G-23827 grease.
(a) Push one of the rudder pedals fully forward to move the spring slider shaft for access.

(b) Apply a thin layer of grease to the part of the spring slider shaft that you can get to.
NOTE:____ Put sufficient grease on the spring slider shaft for you to see the grease.
(c) (d) Put the rudder pedals back to the neutral position.Apply grease to the part of the spring slider shaft that you can get to through the spring cartridge.
NOTE:____ Put sufficient grease on the spring slider shaft for you to see the grease.
(e) Move the rudder pedals through 10 cycles to apply the grease equally.
