(1) Release the fuel measuring sticks on the fuel tank with the bad indicators.
NOTE: Let the stick fall freely and lift it slowly to lock on

the float assembly.

(2) Use the fuel measuring sticks to monitor the fuel quantity.

Make sure you know the attitude of the airplane.
(b)
Use the applicable document for fuel measuring sticks.

Put fuel in the tank until the fuel measuring sticks show the necessary quantity of fuel.
(4)
Stop the refuel operation.
(5)
Permit the fuel level in the tank to become stable for five minutes.
(6)
Examine the fuel measuring sticks again.
