 B.  This section applies to all of the passenger cabin windows and plugs, and all entry door windows.
 C.  It is not necessary to apply antistatic agent for several months if the treated surfaces are sheltered from weather and human contact.
 D.  You can clean and wax the outboard surface of the outer pane to keep a good protective layer. The wax will decrease the effect of ultraviolet light and extend the life of the pressure pane.
 E.  The outboard surface of the outer pane and inboard surface of the inner pane can be waxed to make minor scratches less visible.

 (2)  Clean the inner surface of the outer pane, the two surfaces of the inner pane and the outer surface of the inner pane.
 NOTE: Use lukewarm water and castille soap to clean the windows.

Apply the soap solution to the window with a soft clean, cotton flannel cloth.

 (b)  
Clean the window surface with your bare hand only

 NOTE: Your bare hand can detect dirt before it can scratch the

 window.

 (c)  Dry the window with a clean damp chamois.
 E. Procedure
 S 623-004
 (1)  Apply antistatic agent to the window.
 (a)  
Mix 10 parts of antistatic agent with 120 parts of water by weight.

 (b)  
Soak the boiled cheesecloth with antistatic solution.

 (c)  
Apply the antistatic solution to the inner surface of the outer pane, the two surfaces of the inner pane and the outer surface of the inner pane.

 (d)  
Let the window surfaces dry.

 (e)  
Polish the window with boiled cheesecloth.

 NOTE: Use brisk straight motions of your hand and maintain as
____ light a pressure as possible.
 Do not wet or mar the window surfaces after treatment. The antistatic solution is water soluble.
 F. Put The Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition.

 (1) Install the window assembly (Ref 56-21-00/401 or 56-31-00/401).
