 BONDING CABLES ATTACHED TO COMPOSITE DOORS OR FAIRINGS DO NOT
 GIVE AN ELECTRICAL BOND.
 (1)  Connect a bonding cable from the fueling source to an approved
 electrical grounding or bonding connection on the airplane.
 NOTE:____ If the fueling source has a permanently attached
 grounding/bonding cable, you can use it in this step.  You
 can use the grounding connection immediately outboard of the
 refuel station to bond the airplane to the fuel truck.

 WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THE EXHAUST OF ADJACENT AIRCRAFT DOES NOT GO INTO A
 ú  FLAMMABLE VAPOR ZONE DURING REFUELING.  INJURY TO PERSONS AND
 ú  DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
 ú  (2)  If an adjacent aircraft is operating its APU, make sure the APU
 ú  exhasut stream does not go into a flammable vapor zone of your
 ú  airplane (for example, the fuel vents orthe area around the fueling
 ú  station and the fueling vehicles).

WARNING:_______OBEY THE PROCEDURES FOR OPERATING THE APU DURING THE FUELING ú OPERATION. INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN ú OCCUR. ú ú (3) If the APU is operating during refueling, do these steps: ú (a) Obey the limits for the operation of the APU ú (AMM 49-11-00/201). ú (b) You can start the APU during refueling if the start is an ú initial start or a restart after normal shutdown. ú (c) You can shut down the APU (manual or automatic) during the ú refueling operation. ú         ú
WARNING:_______DO NOT START THE APU AGAIN DURING THE REFUELING OPERATION ú IF THERE IS A PROTECTIVE AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN OF THE APU OR ú A FAILURE TO START CONDITION. INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE ú TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR. ú ú (d) If there is a protective automatic shutdown or failure to start ú condition on the APU, do one of these steps: ú 1) Complete the refueling operation before you try to start ú the APU again. ú 2) Stop the refueling operation and disconnect the fuel hoses ú from the adapter before you try to start the APU again. ú         ú
WARNING:_______DO THESE STEPS IF AN APU FIRE OCCURS DURING REFUELING. ú INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR. ú ú 3) Do not start the APU again until the spilled fuel is ú removed and there is no further risk of spilled fuel or ú vapors. ú (e) If an APU fire occurs, do these steps in this sequence: ú 1) Stop the refueling operation: ú 2) The APU should shut down automatically. If it does not ú shut down automatically, do this task: APU Emergency ú Shutdown (AMM 49-11-00/201). ú 3) Discharge the APU fire bottles (AMM 49-11-00/201). ú 4) Notify persons on board the airplane and Airport Fire ú Services.

 ú  (f) If fuel spillage occurs, do these steps:
 ú  1) Stop the refueling operation
 ú  2) Notify person on board the airplane.
