1. General
_______
A. This section contains two tasks to clean the flight compartment windows. The first task is used for glass windows. The second task is used for acrylic windows.

2. Clean The Glass Flight Compartment Windows

C. Prepare To Clean The Windows.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE WINDOW HEAT SWITCHES ARE OFF AND THE CIRCUIT
_______ BREAKERS ARE OPEN. YOU CAN GET AN ELECTRICAL SHOCK IF YOU TOUCH THE WINDOWS.
(1)
Make sure that the WINDOW HEAT switches are off.

Open the window heat circuit breakers.
D. Clean The Glass Control Cabin Windows

(1)
Use a chamois to apply soap solution to the inner and outer surfaces of the window.
(2)
Clean the windows with as light a pressure as possible.
(3)
Remove the soap solution from the windows with clean water.

Wipe the window dry with a clean, damp chamois.

E. Put The Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition.

D. Clean the acrylic control cabin windows

CAUTION:_______DO NOT RUB DRY PLASTIC WITH A DRY CLOTH. THIS CAN CAUSE SCRATCHES.

Apply the soap solution to the window with a soft clean, cotton flannel cloth.

Clean the window surface with your bare hand only.
NOTE: Your bare hand can detect dirt before it can scratch the

window.

(3) Dry the window with a clean damp chamois.

1. General_______
A. There are three tasks in this subject. The first is the application of antistatic solution to the passenger compartment windows. The second is a procedure to clean the inside and outside panes of the windows. The third is the application of wax to the windows.
