Attach the switch to the cam latch fitting with two screws.
NOTE: Use the self-locking screw (cylindrical head) in the
____ hole near the plunger.
(e) Do these steps to put the sealant on the terminals of the switch (Fig. 402): 1) Apply the primer to the switch terminals and let it dry.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUT THE SEALANT ON THE PLUNGER SPRING OR IN
_______ THE MECHANISM OF THE SWITCH. THE SEALANT CAN MAKE THE SWITCH OPERATE INCORRECTLY IF IT IS IN THE SWITCH MECHANISM.
2) Apply the sealant to the switch terminals and contacts.

Use two countersunk screws to attach the cover to the switch.
(g)
Make sure the dimension from bottom of the cam latch fitting to the end of plunger is as shown on the switch adjustment chart. Adjust the plunger length, if necessary, to get the correct dimension.
NOTE: No other switch adjustments are necessary to get the
____ correct warning light operation if the door and cam latch fittings are correctly adjusted.

Do a test of the door warning system on the main entry door.
(a)
Move the inside door handle slowly towards the open position.
(b)
Make sure the ENTRY DOOR message does not show on EICAS before the handle has turned 4 degrees.
(c)
Make sure the ENTRY DOOR message shows on EICAS before the door handle is 12 degrees from the closed position.
(d)
Close the door slowly.
(e)
Make sure the ENTRY DOOR message does not go off before the door handle is 12 degrees from the closed position.
(f)
Make sure the ENTRY DOOR message goes off before the door handle is 4 degrees from the full closed position.

(5) Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(1)
Install the warning switch on the pressure relief door.
(a)
Remove one locknut and put the other locknut against the switch body.
(b)
Install the switch and the keywasher in the mounting bracket.
(c)
Install the lockwasher and the locknut.
(d)
Tighten the locknut and install the lockwire.
(e)
Connect the electrical wire to the switch at the connector.
(f)
Adjust the door warning switch. 1) Make sure the head of the bolt is flat against the actuator
arm. 2) Pull the actuator arm away from the plunger. 3) Adjust the switch to get the dimension shown in Detail C.
