(1)
Examine the door seal.
(a)
Look for damage.
(b)
Repair the seal if it is necessary (Ref 52-09-00/801).

Install the door.
(a)
Put the door in the door opening.
(b)
Use your hands to put a layer of grease on the hinge bolts.
(c)
Install the hinge bolts. 1) Put the bolts in the hinge arms. 2) Put four washers on the bolts. 3) Put the bolts through the fittings in the structure. 4) Install, but do not tighten the nuts on the bolts.
(d)
Loosen the four bolts that attach the hinge arms to the door.
