Procedure

 (1)
Close the door.

Install the switch:

 (a)
Attach the switch to the bracket with the fasteners.

 (b)
Attach the wires to the clamp.

 (c)
Install the clamp to the door with the fastener.

 (d)
Make splices to connect the wires.

 (3)  Adjust the switch: (a) Make sure the arm/disarm lever is in the disarmed (MANUAL/DISARM) position. (b) Make sure the clearance between the switch and its actuator is 0.19 to 0.21 inch.
 1)  Change the thickness of the shim if it is necessary to get the correct clearance.

 (4)  Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags: (a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel 1) 7A1 MAWEA PWR A 2) 7B1 MAWEA PWR B

 (5)  Do a test of the switch. (a) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201). (b) Put the arm/disarm lever in the armed (AUTOMATIC/ARM) position. 1) See that there is an "A" on the EICAS door synoptic page adjacent to the applicable upper deck door. (c) Put the arm/disarm lever in the disarmed (MANUAL/DISARM) position. 1) See that there is an "M" on the EICAS door synoptic page adjacent to the applicable upper deck door.

 (6)  Install the lining on the applicable door (AMM 52-23-02/401).

 (7)  Remove the maintenance stand.
