4) Turn the actuator until the torque increases 15 to 20 pound-inches.
NOTE: This is where the actuator hits the internal stops.

5) Manually turn the latch actuator twelve turns counterclockwise. 6) Make the switch operate at this point.
NOTE: Move either the switch or the adjustment bolt
____ to make the switch operate.
7) Disconnect the P3 and the P4 connector from the cargo door junction box.
8) Make sure there is no continuity between the appropriate connector and ground as follows: a) Pin 12 on the P4 connector or,
pin 13 on the P3 connector. 9) Connect the P3 and the P4 connector to the cargo door junction box.

Do a test of the warning system on the forward and aft cargo doors.
(a)
Make sure the message for the door shows on EICAS.
1) DOOR FORWARD CARGO
2) DOOR AFT CARGO
(b)
Close the door.
(c)
Make sure the message for the door does not show on EICAS.

Adjust the warning system on the side cargo door (Fig. 502).
(a)
Adjust the door warning switch on the side cargo door.
NOTE: The door warning switch is on the pressure relief
____ door on the top half of the side cargo door.
1) Make sure the head of the bolt is flat against the actuator arm as shown in Detail G, Fig. 502.
