Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 (a)  
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) 7A1 MAWEA PWR A
 2) 7B1 MAWEA PWR B

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 (a)  
P180 DC Power Distribution Panel
 1) 180G3 LH UPR DK DR BAT
 2) 180D3 RH UPR DK DR BAT


 (b)  
Battery Pack Bracket 1) C8603 - CARTRIDGE - LH UPPER DECK DOOR 2) C8604 - CARTRIDGE - RH UPPER DECK DOOR

 (3)  
Remove the lining from the applicable door (AMM 52-11-02/401 and AMM 52-23-02/401).

 S 825-027
 WARNING:_______DO NOT OPEN A DOOR DURING THE ADJUSTMENT. THE DOOR EMERGENCY MECHANISM WILL OPERATE IF YOU OPEN A DOOR WITH THE MODE SELECTOR LEVER IN THE ARMED (AUTOMATIC/ARM) POSITION. EMERGENCY OPERATION OF THE DOOR AND ESCAPE SYSTEM CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT AND INJURY TO PERSONS.
 (1)  
Adjust the switches on the main entry doors.

 (a)  
Put the mode selector lever in the disarmed (MANUAL/DISARM) position.

 (b)  
Make sure the clearance between the manual switch and its actuator is correct (Section A-A). 1) Remove the mode selector lever if it is necessary. 2) Add or remove shims from the switch and the switch actuator

 to make the clearance 0.20 |0.03 inch.

 (c)  
Put the mode selector lever in the armed (AUTOMATIC/ARM) position.

 (d)  
Make sure the clearance between the automatic switch and its actuator is correct (Section A-A). 1) Remove the mode selector lever if it is necessary. 2) ALL EXCEPT AIRPLANES WITH A CURVED BRACKET AT DOOR 5;


 Add or remove shims from the switch and its actuator to make the clearance 0.20 |0.03 inch.
 3)  AIRPLANES WITH A CURVED BRACKET AT DOOR 5; Add or remove shims from the switch and its actuator to make the clearance 0.20 to 0.25 inch.
 (e)  
Align the switch and the switch actuator (Section D-D):

 1)  Add or remove shims from the switch, actuator or bracket to make the switch and switch actuator align correctly.

 (f)  
Install the mode selector lever if it is necessary.

 (g)  
Move the mode selector lever to the disarmed (MANUAL/DISARM) position.
