(h) Do this test of the EICAS messages: 1) Erase the applicable door status messages from EICAS if it
is necessary. 2) Close, latch and lock the cargo door. 3) Make sure that the status message DOOR SIDE CARGO does not
show on EICAS after 60 seconds.
NOTE: The Door Up switch in the "door not up" position
____ does not allow the EICAS mesage to show.
4) Open the side cargo door. 5) Push the plunger on the door latched switch and hold for a minimum of 60 seconds. 6) See that the DOOR SIDE CARGO (STATUS) message shows on EICAS.
NOTE: The status message shows after you hold the

plunger for more than one minute.
7) Release the plunger on the door latched switch. 8) Erase the status message DOOR SIDE CARGO from EICAS. 9) Push the plunger on the door closed switch and hold for a
minimum of 60 seconds. 10) See that the message DOOR SIDE CARGO (STATUS) shows on EICAS.
NOTE: The status message shows after you hold the

11) Release the plunger on the door closed switch.
12) Erase the status message DOOR SIDE CARGO from EICAS.
13) Push the plunger on the door warning switch and hold for a
minimum of 60 seconds. 14) See that the message DOOR SIDE CARGO (STATUS) shows on EICAS.
NOTE: The status message shows after you hold the

plunger for more than one minute.
15) Release the plunger of the door warning switch. 16) Erase the status message DOOR SIDE CARGO from EICAS. 17) Move the door until it is open between 1 and 2 feet. 18) Push and hold the plungers on the door warning switch and
the door latched switch at the same time.
NOTE: These steps do a test of the Door Closed circuit.

19) See that the DOOR SIDE CARGO caution message shows on EICAS. 20) Push the plunger on the door closed switch while you continue to hold the plungers of the other switches.

23) Push the plunger of the door warning switch and the door
closed switch.
NOTE: These steps do a test of the Door Latched circuit.

24) Make sure the DOOR SIDE CARGO caution message shows on EICAS. 25) Push the plunger on the door latched switch while you continue to hold the plungers of the other switches. 26) See that the DOOR SIDE CARGO caution message does not show on EICAS. 27) Release the plungers on the three switches.

Close and lock the side cargo door.

Make sure that the DOOR SIDE CARGO caution message does not show on EICAS.
