DOOR WARNING SWITCHES - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains the removals and installations of the warning switches for these doors:
(1)
The main electronic equipment door
(2)
The center electronic equipment door
(3)
The forward and aft cargo doors
(4)
The bulk cargo compartment door
(5)
The main entry doors
(6)
The upper deck door.
(7)
The side cargo door.
(8)
The nose cargo door.
(9)
The overhead hatch.
B.
All of the door warning switches are easy to get access to. The warning switches for the upper deck door and the main entry door are on the open part of the door frames.
C.
The door warning systems for the forward, aft, and side cargo doors have these switches:
(1)
A door warning switch on the pressure relief door
(2)
A door latched switch on the bottom door beam
(3)
A door closed switch on the bottom door beam.
D.
All other door warning switches are in the door frame adjacent to the door.
E.
The warning switches for the main entry doors have small covers. The switch for the bulk cargo door is behind an access panel in the sidewall lining. You can get access to the other switches from inside the airplane.
