WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE SAFETY PIN OR RESTRAINING TOOL, WHICH HOLDS
_______ THE CABLE IN THE SPRING TUBE, UNTIL THE CABLE IS CONNECTED TO THE DOOR. THE CABLE HAS HIGH TENSION AND WILL QUICKLY RETRACT INTO ITS HOUSING AND CAUSE INJURY IF YOU REMOVE THE SAFETY PIN OR RESTRAINING TOOL.

Connect the balance mechanism cable to the door (Ref 52-36-02/401).

A. This procedure contains two tasks:

The removal of the snubber from the bulk cargo door.
(2)
The installation of the snubber on the bulk cargo door.

(1)
Close and latch the bulk cargo door.
S 024-002
(2)
Remove the snubber as follows (Fig. 401):
(a)
Disconnect the lower end of the snubber from the mounting bracket on the door hinge.
(b)
Disconnect the top end of the snubber from the mounting bracket on the fuselage frame.
(c)
Remove the snubber from the airplane.
NOTE: Do not open the door until the snubber is installed.
