(1)
Install the warning switch for the bulk cargo door (Fig. 403).
(a)
Remove the tags from the wires and attach them to the switch with the two attach screws.
(b)
Before you install the switch, extend the plunger to
0.75 +0.03/-0.03 inch from the front face of mounting bracket as shown.
(c)
Install the switch with two screws (and washers) through the latch from the aft side.
(d)
Turn the plunger counterclockwise with a screwdriver until a door locked indication is shown with the door closed and locked.
NOTE: The indication will show after approximately one-half a

turn.
(e) When a door locked indication is shown, turn the plunger an additional two full turns.

Close these circuit breakers for the applicable EICAS system:
(a)
On the P7 panel:
1) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
2) 7F8 UPR EICAS
3) 7F9 EIU L
4) 7F10 EIU C
5) 7F14 LWR EICAS
6) 7F15 EIU R
(3)
Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do a test of the door warning system on the bulk cargo door.
(a)
Open the bulk cargo door.
(b)
Make sure that the DOOR BULK CARGO message shows on EICAS.
(c)
Close the bulk cargo door.
(d)
Make sure the DOOR BULK CARGO message does not show on EICAS.

Before you install the switch, extend the plunger as shown on the switch adjustment chart on Fig. 402.
