Adjust the door warning system on the forward and aft cargo compartment doors (Fig. 502).
(a)
Adjust the door warning switch on the forward and aft cargo doors (Detail B)
NOTE: The door warning switch is on the pressure relief
____ door in the top half of the cargo door.
1) Make sure the master latch lock handle is closed. 2) Measure the continuity between pins 2 and 3 on the P3 connector on the cargo door junction box. 3) Turn the bolt on the switch until there is no continuity between pins 2 and 3 on the P3 connector. 4) Turn the bolt 5 +/- 1/8 turn more.
(b) Adjust the door close switch (Detail D). 1) Move the adjustment bolt until the switch plunger hits the bottom of the switch. 2) Turn the adjustment bolt 3.0 +/- 1/8 turns in the opposite direction. 3) Disconnect the P3 and the P4 connector from the cargo door junction box.
4) Make sure there is no continuity between the appropriate connector and ground as follows: a) Pin 13 on the P4 connector or
pin 16 on the P3 connector. 5) Connect the P3 and the P4 connector to the cargo door junction box.
(c) Adjust the door latched switch on the forward and aft cargo doors (Detail C). 1) Open the door to get access to the switch. 2) Use a torque wrench to manually turn the latch actuator
clockwise. 3) Monitor the torque you use to turn the latch actuator.
