 A.  This procedure contains two tasks:
 (1)  
The removal of the APU access doors

 (2)  
The installation of the APU access doors.

 B.  
This procedure refers to the APU access door as "the door".

 2.  APU Access Doors Removal (Fig. 401)________________________
 A.  General
 (1)  
There are two alternatives to remove the doors:

 (a)  
Remove the hinge pins from the hinges

 (b)  
Remove the screws that hold the hinges to the fuselage.

 (1)  
Open the door.

 (a)  
Hold the door with the hold-open rod.

 (2)  
Disconnect the bonding jumpers from the door.

Use one of the two procedures that follow to remove the door:

 (a)  
Remove the hinge pins to remove the door: 1) Remove the retainers that hold the hinge pins on the hinge (Detail A).

 2)  Hold the door while you do these steps: a) Put the hold-open rods in the door.
