 A. This procedure contains two tasks:
 (1)  
The removal of the service door for the pneumatic system

 (2)  
The installation of the service door for the pneumatic system.

Procedure


 S 024-002
 (1)  
Remove the door.

 (a)  
Remove the bonding jumper from the hinge.

 (b)  
Remove the bolts from the hinges.

 (c)  
Remove the door from the airplane.

Procedure

Install the door.

 (a)  
Connect the door to the hinges with the bolts, the nuts and the washers.

 (b)  
Connect the bonding jumper to the door.

 (c)  See that the door moves freely and easily around its hinges.
 S 214-013
 (2)  Examine the finish on the structure that touches the door. (a) See that the abrasion-resistant finish is satisfactory. (b) Apply an abrasion-resistant finish that is 0.010 inch thick if it is necessary (Ref 51-24-04/701).

 (3)  Do a check of the latch adjustment. (a) Close but do not latch the door. (b) Push up at the latch until the door aligns with the fuselage between -0.03 and +0.03 inch.
