Remove the door.
(a)
Remove the bonding jumper from the hinge.
(b)
Remove the bolts from the hinges.
(c)
Remove the door from the airplane.

(c) See that the door moves freely and easily around its hinges.

(2) Examine the finish on the structure that touches the door. (a) See that the abrasion-resistant finish is satisfactory. (b) Apply an abrasion-resistant finish that is 0.010 inch thick if it is necessary (Ref 51-24-04/701).

(3) Do a check of the latch adjustment. (a) Close but do not latch the door. (b) Push up at the latch until the door aligns with the fuselage between -0.03 and +0.03 inch.
