Make sure the cargo doors are closed, latched and locked.

Do a test of the door warning system on the forward (aft) cargo door.

Do this test of the door warning indication at the door control panel: 1) See that the green LATCHES CLOSED light on the door control
panel is off.

2) Open the master latch lock handle. 3) See that the green LATCHES CLOSED light on the door control panel is on.
NOTE: The plunger of the master latch lock switch supplies

power to the circuit.
Manually or electrically operate the latches towards the
unlatched position.
See that the green LATCHES CLOSED light on the door control
panel goes off as the door unlatches.
See that the applicable caution message shows on EICAS:
1) DOOR FWD CARGO
2) DOOR AFT CARGO.
Do a test of the EICAS messages.
1) Erase the applicable door status message from EICAS, if it
is necessary. 2) Close, latch and lock the cargo door. 3) Make sure the applicable door status message does not show
on EICAS after 60 seconds.
NOTE: The Door Up switch in the "door not up" position
____
does not allow the status message to show.
4) Open the door to the fully open position. 5) Push the plunger on the door latched switch and hold for a minimum of 60 seconds. 6) See that the applicable status message shows on EICAS:
NOTE: The status message shows after you hold the plunger

for more than one minute.
a) DOOR FWD CARGO
b) DOOR AFT CARGO. 7) Release the plunger on the door latched switch. 8) Erase the status message from EICAS.

11) Release the plunger on the door closed switch.
12) Erase the status message on EICAS.

15) Release the plunger on the door warning switch.
16) Erase the status message from EICAS.
17) Move the door until it is open between 1 and 2 feet.
18) Push and hold the plungers of the Door Warning Switch, the Door Latched Switch and the Door Closed Switches.
