 NOTE: You can turn the locknuts two more turns after the
____ initial two turns to provide additional plunger depression. If you cannot turn the locknuts a total of four turns then turn them as much as the threads on the plunger will allow.

Tighten the locknuts.

 (i)  
Install the lockwire.

P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
 1) 7F8 UPR EICAS
 2) 7F9 EIU L
 3) 7F10 EIU C
 4) 7F14 LWR EICAS
 5) 7F15 EIU R

 (3)  
Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (4)  
Do a test of the door warning system on the main equipment compartment door.

 (a)  
Open the forward (main) electronic bay access door.

 (b)  
Make sure that the DOOR ELEC MAIN message shows on EICAS.

 (c)  
Close the forward (main) bay access door.

 (d)  
Make sure that the DOOR MAIN message does not show on EICAS.

 (5)  Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary
 (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 C. Procedure
 S 424-034
 (1)  
Install the warning switch for the center electronic equipment door (Fig. 401).

 (a)  
Assemble the switch in the mounting bracket as shown.

 (b)  
Install the mounting bracket.

 (c)  
Close and latch the door.

 (d)  
Make sure that the lockpin pushes the plunger at least 0.12 inch.

 (e)  
Connect the wiring to the switch.
