 23) Push the EXTERNAL 2 switch on the P5 panel to the AVAIL position.
 24) Put the airplane in the GROUND mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).
 25) Momentarily hold the SYSTEM POWER switch in the OFF/LOCK TEST position. a) Make sure that the green LOCK-OUT ENGAGED light on the Nose Cargo Door Control panel comes on when the SYSTEM POWER switch is held in the OFF/LOCK TEST position. b) Make sure that the green LOCK-OUT ENGAGED light goes off when the SYSTEM POWER switch is released.
 26) Look to see these indications after the door is closed, latched, and locked: a) Sixteen green LATCHED lights on the Nose Cargo Door Latch Annunciator panel are on and 16 amber NOT LCHD lights are off.

 b)  Two green CLOSED lights on the Nose Cargo Door Closed Annunciator panel are on and two amber NOT CLSD lights are off.
 c)  All lights on the Nose Cargo Door Control panel are off.
 d)  The caution message DOOR NOSE CARGO is not shown on EICAS.
 e)  After 60 seconds the status message DOOR NOSE CARGO does not show on EICAS.

 (1)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 S 825-016

 (2)  
Adjust the main entry door switch (Fig. 501).

 (a)  
Remove the door warning switch cover.

 (b)  
Remove the screws that hold the switch bracket to the latch fitting.

 (c)  
Refer to the switch adjustment chart to set the length of the switch plunger.

 NOTE: This dimension is from the face of the mounting
____ bracket to the end of the plunger.
 (d)  
Install the switch on the latch cam.

 (e)  
Make sure the length of the switch plunger is as shown in the switch adjustment chart.

 NOTE: This dimension is from the track in the latch fitting
____
 to the end of the plunger.

 (f)  
Install the cover on the switch with the cover screws.

 (g)  
Do a test of the warning switch for the applicable main entry door. 1) Make sure the door is open. 2) Make sure the message for the door shows on EICAS.

 a) DOOR ENTRY L1
 b) DOOR ENTRY L5 3) Close the door. 4) Make sure the message for the door does not show on EICAS.

 (3)  If the test of the door warning switch is not satisfactory, adjust the door latches (AMM 52-11-01/501, Door 1 or AMM 52-11-09/501, Door 5).
