Install a view port window as follows:
(a)
Apply sealant around the circumference of the view port window (Views E and B-B).
(b)
Apply sealant in the countersunk area of the fastener or hole.
(c)
Install the view port window and retainer.
(d)
Install the fasteners, washers, nuts.
(e)
Make sure that you can see the latch alignment stripe and arrow through the view port windows.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers for the applicable cargo door:

A. General
(1)
This is a scheduled maintenance task.
(2)
The latch alignment marks consist of a stripe on the latch cam and an arrow on the latch fitting.
(3)
This inspection should be conducted at each of the eight viewing ports on the cargo door.

C. Procedure

(1)
With the cargo door in the fully closed, latched, and locked position, perform a visual inspection of the latch alignment marks as follows:
(a)
Inspect the latch alignment marks through the door viewing ports to make sure that stripe and arrow at each of the viewing ports are aligned.
NOTE: Arrow point may be misaligned up to 0.1 inch on either
____
side of stripe centerline.
(b)
Make sure the alignment marks are not missing or damaged to a degree to where positive visual indication of a fully latched cargo door cannot be obtained.
(c)
Replace alignment marks as necessary so that positive visual indication can be achieved.
(d)
Make sure the view ports in the cargo door remain clean to allow for good visibility of the alignment marks.
(e)
Clean or replace viewing ports as necessary.
