 (c) (d)  Lock the latch.Make sure you can push the latch bolt up from 0.01 to 0.03 inch.
 (e)  1) Change the shim below the face of the latch if it is necessary to get this dimension.Make sure the latch has a minimum overlap of 0.25 inch.

 (4)  Examine the clearances around the door. (a) Make sure there is from 0.03 and 0.09 inch between the edges of the door and the fuselage. (b) Remove material from the door if it is necessary to get the correct dimension.
 (c)  If you remove material, paint the area with Alodine (Ref 51-21-04/701).

 (5)  See that the door aligns with the fuselage in less than 0.03 inch.
 S 724-014
 (6)  Open and close the door to make sure it operates correctly.

 C. Procedure
 S 424-011
 (1)  
Install the door.

 (a)  
Connect the door to the hinges with the bolts, the nuts and the washers.

 (b)  
Connect the bonding jumper to the door.

 (c)  
See that the door moves freely and easily around its hinges.

 S 214-017
 (2)  
Examine the bracket and bumpers.

 (a)  
Make sure the brackets and bumpers are in the correct position and are not damaged.

 NOTE: If the bumper is in the wrong position or damaged,
