Remove the lining from the applicable door (AMM 52-23-02/401).

Put the maintenance stand outboard of the door.

Open the door.

Remove the switch.
(a)
Identify the wires on the switch with labels.
NOTE: This will make the subsequent installation easier.

(b)
Disconnect the wires at the splices.
(c)
Remove the clamps that hold the wire to the door.
(d)
Remove the fasteners that hold the switch to the bracket.
(e)
Remove the switch.
