Remove a switch from a latch fitting.
(a)
Remove the lockwire from the locknut.
(b)
Remove the locknut, the key washer and the lockwasher from the switch.
(c)
Remove the switch from the latch fitting.
(d)
Disconnect the switch wiring from the airplane wiring at the appropriate connector.
NOTE: The connectors are under access panels inside the

door opening.

(3) S 034-115Disconnect the electrical wire from the switch.
(4) S 024-116Remove the safety wire and loosen the locknuts to remove the switch.

(1)
Install warning switch for the main electronic equipment door (Fig. 401).
(a)
Remove the roller guide assembly and locknut from the new switch.
(b)
Align the switch with the keyway and insert it into the cutout.
(c)
Close and lock the door.
(d)
Put the switch in the mounting bracket with the plunger against the actuator.
(e)
Connect the wiring to switch.
(f)
Adjust the position of the switch in the mounting bracket until the switch operates.
NOTE: Keep the locknuts finger-tight against the bracket.

(g) Turn the 2 locknuts two more full turns to allow the switch plunger to be further depressed in the switch.
