(b) Move the switch in the bracket until the DOOR ELEC MAIN message shows on the EICAS display.
NOTE: Keep the locknuts finger tight against the bracket.

(c) As an option, do these steps to measure the continuity of the switch with an ohmmeter: 1) Disconnect the DW2679C connector at the E2-6 disconnect
rack. 2) Connect an ohmmeter between pin C4 and ground. 3) Move the switch in the bracket until there is no continuity
from pin C4 to ground.
NOTE: Keep the locknuts finger tight against the bracket.

(d) Turn the 2 locknuts two more complete turns to allow the switch plunger to be further depressed in the switch.
NOTE: You can turn the locknuts two more turns after the
____ initial two turns to provide additional plunger depression. If you cannot turn the locknuts a total of four turns then turn them as much as the threads on the plunger will allow.
(e)
Tighten the locknuts.
(f)
Safety the locknuts with wire.
(g)
Do these steps if you used an ohmmeter to adjust the switch: 1) Remove the ohmmeter from the connector. 2) Connect the DW2679C connector to the E2-6 disconnect rack.
(h)
Do a test of the warning switch for the main electronic equipment compartment. 1) Make sure the door is open. 2) Make sure the message DOOR ELEC MAIN shows on EICAS. 3) Close the door. 4) Make sure the message DOOR ELEC MAIN does not show on
EICAS.

Adjust the warning switch on the access door to the center electronic equipment compartment (Fig 503).
(a)
Move the switch in the bracket to get the 0.51 inch dimension shown in Section A-A.
(b)
Close and latch the access door.
(c)
Make sure the door latch pin pushes the switch plunger more than 0.12 inch.
(d)
Safety the locknuts with wire.
(e)
Do a test of the warning switch for the center electronic equipment compartment. 1) Make sure the door is open. 2) Make sure the message DOOR ELEC CTR shows on EICAS. 3) Close the door.

It is not possible to adjust the door closed switches or the switches in the latches on the nose cargo door.
(a)
Put lockwire on the locknuts of the door closed switches.

(11) Adjust the warning switch on the upper deck crew service door (Fig. 505).
(a) Open the door.
(b) Turn the switch plunger clockwise until it hits the mechanical
stop.
(c) Turn the switch plunger counterclockwise one-half turn at a
time until the message DOOR R UPR DK shows on EICAS.
