DOOR WARNING SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains these tasks:
(1)
An operational test of the warning system for these doors:
(a)
The main entry doors
(b)
The forward and the center electronic equipment compartment doors.
(c)
The overhead hatch
(d)
The upper deck crew service door.
(e)
The cargo doors.
(2)
An adjustment of the door warning system.
B.
Status messages will appear on the lower EICAS screen when the STAT button is depressed.
C.
There are two methods that erase a status message. These methods require that there is a CMC on the airplane. AMM 31-61-00/201 includes a task that erases status messages.
(1)
Use the ERASE prompt located on the CMCS present leg fault menu to erase an individual message.
(2)
Use the Erase Status prompt located on the CMCS Present Leg Fault Menu to erase all status messages.
