For the applicable engine, open this circuit breaker on the main power distribution panel, P6, and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

6H33 AIR SUPPLY CONT 2 PWR

6H34 AIR SUPPLY CONT 3 PWR
(d)
6H35 AIR SUPPLY CONT 4 PWR

WARNING: DO THE DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE FOR THE THRUST REVERSER TO

(7) Open the left half of the thrust reverser (Ref 78-31-00/201).
D. Remove the HPSOV

Do the steps that follow to release the pressure in the duct between the pressure regulating valve (PRV) and the HPSOV (1):
(a)
Turn the manual override drive until the valve is in the OPEN position.
(b)
Hold the valve in the OPEN position momentarily.
(c)
Put the valve to the CLOSED position.
