Put a tag on and disconnect the wires (2) from the temperature sensor (1).

Remove the temperature sensor (1) from the mounting boss.

Remove the packing (3) from the temperature sensor (1).

Discard the packing.

(4) Put a cover on the duct opening to keep out unwanted objects.

Install a new packing (3) on the temperature sensor (1).

Remove the cap from the duct opening.

Install the temperature sensor (1).

Tighten the temperature sensor.

Install the lockwire.

Make sure there are no applicable faults.

Apply the leak detector around the fitting of the mounting boss.
