BLEED AIR CONTROL MODULE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the bleed air control module. The second task installs the bleed air control module and performs a post installation test of the bleed air control module.
B. The bleed air control module is found at the pilot's overhead panel, P5 in the control cabin.

2. Remove the Bleed Air Control Module (Fig. 401)___________________________________

Prepare to Remove the Bleed Air Control Module

Open the applicable circuit breaker that follows and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a)
On the P6 main power distribution panel 1) 6H32, AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 1 2) 6H33, AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 2 3) 6H34, AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 3 4) 6H35, AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 4 5) 180J1, PACK 1 FLOW CONT VLV 6) 180J2, PACK 1 PROT 7) 180F1, PACK 2 FLOW CONT VLV 8) 180F2, PACK 2 PROT 9) 180J16, PACK 3 FLOW CONT VLV 10) 180J17, PACK 3 PROT

Remove the Bleed Air Control Module

(1)
Loosen the quarter-turn fasteners (4 locations) and move the module until you get access to the electrical connectors.
(2)
Pull the bleed air control module from the P5 overhead panel.

Put a label on the electrical connectors on the back of the panel to make them easily identifiable for installation.

(4) Disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the bleed air control module.

Install the Bleed Air Control Module

Connect the applicable electrical connectors to the back of the bleed air control module.

Put the bleed air control module in position onto the pilot's overhead panel, P5 and then tighten the quarter-turn fasteners (4 locations).

Turn each quarter-turn fasteners (4 locations) to secure the module to the P5 panel.
