Open the left thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Remove the Pressure Controller


 S 864-037
 (1)  
Do the steps that follow to remove the pressure from the supply pressure tube (3):

 (a)  
Turn the manual override drive, on the HPSOV, to the OPEN position (AMM 36-11-05/201).

 (b)  
Hold the valve in the OPEN position momentarily.

 (c)  
Put the valve to the CLOSED position.

 (2)  
Disconnect the electrical connector DV7200 (9) from the pressure controller (5).

 (3)  
Disconnect the regulated pressure tube (1), the actuator pressure tube (2), and the supply pressure tube (3) from the pressure controller (5).

Put caps on the open tubes and ports to keep out unwanted objects.

Remove the nut (10), the washer (11) and the bolt (8) to disconnect the bonding jumper (4).

Remove the four mounting bolts (6) and the washers (7) from the pressure controller (5).

Remove the pressure controller from the engine.

 (8)  
If it is necessary to install a new pressure controller (5), do the steps that follow to remove the fittings from the pressure controller:

 (a)  
Remove the elbow (12), the jamnut (13) and the O-ring (14) from the regulated pressure port.

 (b)  
Discard the O-ring.

 (c)  
Remove the swivel elbow (15), the reducer (16) and the O-ring (17) from the supply pressure port.

 (d)  
Discard the O-ring.

 (e)  
Remove the swivel elbow (15), the union (18) and the O-ring (14) from the actuator pressure port.

 (f)  
Discard the O-ring.

If you must install a new pressure controller (5), do the steps that follow to install the fittings in the new controller:

 (a)  
Apply lubricant to the O-rings (14 and 17).
