E. Remove the Fan Air Temperature Sensor

Disconnect the cooling air tube from the fan air temperature sensor.

Disconnect the signal pressure tube from the fan air temperature sensor.

Put caps on the open tubes and the ports to keep out unwanted objects.

Remove the four mounting bolts and washers from the fan air temperature sensor.

Remove the fan air temperature sensor from the strut.

Remove the gasket from the mounting boss.
(a)
Discard the gasket.

Do the steps that follow if you must install a new fan air temperature sensor:
(a)
Remove the elbow, jamnut and O-ring from the signal pressure port. 1) Discard the O-ring.
(b)
Remove the reducer and O-ring from the cooling air port. 1) Discard the O-ring.
