NOTE: This test procedure is used to perform a quick electrical
____ (without pneumatics) inspection of the bleed system from the flight compartment. This test should be performed before performing the pneumatic portion of this test.

(1)
Review the ATA 36 (pneumatic system) EICAS or CMC messages.
(a)
Look at the EICAS or CMCS for any ATA 36 (pneumatic system) messages.
(b)
Write down any existing ATA 36 (pneumatic system) messages and any messages in fault history.
(c)
Clear these messages before you do this test.

Perform the test:
(a)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Prepare the CMC for the test: 1) Push the MENU key on the CMC to show the MENU 2) Push the <CMC key to show the CMC MENU 3) If <RETURN appears after the <CMC button is pushed,
continue to push <CMC until you see the CMC MENU. 4) Push the <GROUND TESTS key to show the GROUND TEST menu. 5) Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find <36 PNEUMATICS. 6) Push the <PNEUMATICS key to show the GROUND TESTS menu.

Push the <BLEED SYS ELEC button to begin
NOTE: When the TEST PRECONDITIONS page shows, make sure
____ each instruction on the page is completed. Push the NEXT PAGE key to show the next page.
(d)
Review all pages before you go to the next step.
(e)
Push the START TEST button.
(f)
Do the instructions that show on the CMC.
(g)
When the test is complete, look for PASS or FAIL adjacent to <BLEED SYS ELEC.
(h)
If a PASS indication shows, no failures occurred during the test.
(i)
If a FAIL indication shows, push FAIL key to see the GROUND TEST MSG pages for the failure.
(j)
Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find all the GROUND TEST MSG pages.
(k)
Make a list of all CMCS messages, CMCS message numbers, and ATA numbers that show on the GROUND TEST MSG pages.
(l)
If a failure message is present go to the CMCS Message Index of the Fault Isolation Manual (FIM) to find the corrective action for each CMCS message.
