(a)
Make sure the PRV is fully closed by visually checking the position switch.
(b)
If the PRV is open then replace the PRV (AMM 36-11-19/401).
(c)
Make sure the PRV shows CLOSED on the ECS maintenance page.
(d)
If the PRV is closed but does not indicate CLOSED on the ECS maintenance page, troubleshoot the position switch and/or wiring.

Test the PRV and the PRV controller operation.
(a)
Disconnect the PRV supply pressure tube and install the male fitting to the PRV controller supply pressure tubing.
(b)
Disconnect the PRV controller downstream (braided flex) line and install the 45 degree fitting to the PRV controller regulated pressure tubing.
(c)
Remove the PRV locking pin from the PRV actuator and install the actuator fitting. As an alternative, remove the signal pressure sense line at the actuator and install a tee fitting between the actuator and sense line.
(d)
Connect one end of the supply pressure (red) hose to the supply port on the test box and the other end to the male fitting in the PRV controller supply pressure tubing.
(e)
Connect one end of the regulated pressure (yellow) hose to the regulated pressure port on the test box and the other end to the 45 degree fitting in the PRV controller regulated pressure tubing.
