Open the applicable left thrust reverser half (AMM 78-31-00/201).

 (4)  
Remove the bolt (20) that holds the duct support rod (17) to the HP/IP manifold (7).

 (5)  
Disconnect the upstream pressure supply line to the pressure controller (6) from the HP/IP manifold (7).

 (6)  
Remove the coupling (2) from the HP/IP manifold (7) and the high pressure shutoff valve (HPSOV) (1) joint.

Remove the coupling (4) from the HP/IP manifold (7) and the pressure regulating valve (PRV) (13) joint.

Remove the coupling (10) from the intermediate pressure duct (14) and the check valve (12) joint.

Remove the HP/IP manifold (7) and check valve (12) assembly from the engine.

 E. Install the Check Valve

 (1)  
Remove the duct covers.

 (2)  
Examine the ducts and IP check valve surfaces for areas of wear and abrasion.


 S 214-010
 CAUTION:_______THE VALVE GASKETS ARE EASILY DAMAGED. INSTALLATION OF DAMAGED GASKETS WILL CAUSE LEAKAGE.
 (3)  
Examine all the E-seals.

 (a)  
The E-seal must not have cracks, dents, or other damage.

 (b)  
Replace all the damaged E-seals.
