 INTERMEDIATE PRESSURE CHECK VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the IP check valve from the intermediate pressure bleed port. The second task installs the IP check valve and does a leak test of the IP check valve installation.
 B.  The check valve in the intermediate pressure line keeps the high pressure bleed air out of the engine intermediate bleed port.
 C.  The check valve is installed on the engine in the 9 o'clock position. It is approximately 3 feet (1 meter) aft of the fan frame. It is necessary to open the left thrust reverser half to get access to the valve.
 D.  The installation of the intermediate pressure check valve is the same on all four engines.
