 AIR SUPPLY CONTROL AND TEST UNIT (ASCTU) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the air supply control and test unit (ASCTU). The second task installs the ASCTU.
 B.  The ASCTU is an electronic module. It is found in the E2 electronic rack in the main equipment center. It is aft of the wheel well for the nose landing gear.

 2.  Remove the Air Supply Control And Test Unit (ASCTU) (Fig. 401)___________________________________________________

Prepare to remove the ASCTU.

 (1)  
Open the applicable circuit breaker that follows and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

 (a)  
On the P6 main power distribution panel 1) 6H32 AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 1 2) 6H33 AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 2 3) 6H34 AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 3 4) 6H35 AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 4

 D.  
Remove the ASCTU

 (1)  
Remove the ASCTU electronic module (Ref 20-11-22/401).

Install the ASCTU electronic module (Ref 20-11-22/401).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the applicable circuit breaker that follows:

 (a)  
On the P6 main power distribution panel
 1) 6H32 AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 1
 2) 6H33 AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 2
 3) 6H34 AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 3
 4) 6H35 AIR SUPPLY CONT ENG 4

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Post Installation Test of the ASCTU

 (1)  
Do the steps that follow:

 (a)  
Push the MENU key on the CDU to show the MENU.

 (b)  
Push the line select key (LSK) that is adjacent to <CMC to show the CMC MENU.

 (c)  
If <RETURN shows after you push the LSK, push the LSK that is adjacent to <RETURN until you see the CMC MENU.

 (d)  
Push the LSK that is adjacent to <GROUND TESTS to show the GROUND TESTS menu.
