WARNING: DO THE DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE FOR THE THRUST REVERSER TO
_______ PREVENT THE OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER. ACCIDENTAL OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Do the deactivation procedure for the thrust reverser (forward thrust position) for ground maintenance (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Lubricate the new packing (5).
(a)
Install the new packing (5) on the overtemperature switch (1).

Do the steps that follow to install the overtemperature switch (1):
(a)
Remove the covers from the duct opening.
(b)
Install the overtemperature switch (1) and the retainer (4).
(c)
Tighten the jamnut (3).
(d)
Install the lockwire.
(e)
Connect the wires (2) to the overtemperature switch (1).

For the applicable engine, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the circuit breaker that follows:

On the main power distribution panel:
1) 6H32, ENG 1 AIR SUPPLY CONT
2) 6H33, ENG 2 AIR SUPPLY CONT
3) 6H34, ENG 3 AIR SUPPLY CONT
4) 6H35, ENG 4 AIR SUPPLY CONT
F. Do the Test for the Installation of the Overtemperature Switch

(1) Apply the leak detector around the mounting boss.
