 (1)  
Release the pressure in the pneumatic system (Ref 36-00-00/201).

Open the left thrust reverser half (Ref 78-31-00/201).

Remove the positioning screw from the switch actuating lever.

 (a)  
Replace the C-seal if it has any damage.

 (4)  
Install the positioning screw with C-seal in the actuator cap tighten the screw to 15-25 pound-inches (1.7-2.8 N.m).

Close the left thrust reverser half (Ref 78-31-00/201).

 HIGH PRESSURE SHUTOFF VALVE (HPSOV) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the high pressure shutoff valve (HPSOV). The second task installs the high pressure shutoff valve (HPSOV).
 B.  The HPSOV is installed on the engine in the 9:00 o'clock position. It is approximately 3 feet aft of the fan frame. It is necessary to open the left half of the thrust reverser to get access to the HPSOV.
